Kal Spelletich will speak about his 40 years as an artist working in art and technology. He will give a brief overview of his oeuvre and demonstrate, live, some machines and robots from his atelier. This work has an emphasis on science, sensors and play. Kal will field questions from those attending the conference.

Understanding The Poverty Line through Research and Visual Typology.

The Poverty Line uses the universal lens of food to examine the daily choices we would face living at the poverty line. Over a period of 10 years, from 2010 to 2020, the artists traveled 200,000 kilometers to create case studies of 36 countries and territories spanning six continents.

We hereby invite you to the double exhibition 3000 + 1.

The exhibition shows the results of the students from the seminars Archeology 3000 by Cornelius Uerlichs and Poster Battle by Prof. Lars Harmsen. The digital vernissage is on Thursday, July 22nd. at 6 p.m. After the joint opening using the "Webex" tool, the exhibition room can be entered on "Miro". Both programs can be accessed via the browser and do not require registration if you are participating on a PC or Mac.

Guest in the talk in U_ # 2 is Prof. Dr. Armin Nassehi from the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, one of the most famous sociologists in Germany (www.nassehi.de/).
With the book "Muster" (2019) he presented a theory of the digital society. Dortmund University of Applied Sciences wants to pursue the topic together with the author.
