Andreas Büllhoff: Library of Artistic Print on Demand Lecture series dESIGN12 + 05.01.2022 18:00 05.01.2022 20:00

Print-on-demand is a relatively new production method based on digital print that has revolutionized the book world. Allowing for very small print runs down to one single copy the availability of book titles no longer requires a physical stock — in contrast to traditional print runs. This has fundamental effects on the production of printed matter and its contents.

Juli Gudehus - »Gestaltung für den Arsch« Lecture series dESIGN12 +, Lecture 11.11.2021 18:00 11.11.2021 20:00

Juli Gudehus collects. Some of her works have already emerged from this. She started her loose-leaf collection of toilet paper from all over the world, comprising over 1,000 copies, in order to be able to illustrate a calendar for the year 00. While the world is still waiting for it, July finally opened its treasure chest at the beginning of the Corona period - on the occasion of the associated run on this supposedly so mundane consumer item. In her lecture, she strolls with us through a design area that has not yet been dealt with at any university.
