You are invited to the master project “Above My Head”. The project will take place on Friday, May 6^th, at 5 p.m. under the “Full Dome” in the Dortmunder U and will combine video art, performance and music by Mexican and Turkish artists. We also are supported by the „StoryLab kiU“. With this project we want to inspire a diverse group of people and celebrate the beauty of our cultures. 

The so called „fine arts“ and their presentation have expanded and changed as a result of the fast developments in digitization. The classic studio is no longer the sole "place of production", and only fractions of artistic reception take place in museums and galleries. Today, the Internet, virtual globes or social networks serve as sources of material for artists and are also new forms of "venues" for arts.
