Beschreibung:
Society only exists in a fake world.

But is it really fake? If the sense of community remains, then does it matter if it’s through physical closeness or online connection?

Virtual reality supposedly is not real, but whether you are in VR or in the physical world you are creating experiences and experience is real. The same could be said about dreams.

These are some of the themes explored in this work, by intertwining images of a glitched world/ persona — and extreme close-ups of these — people seemingly caught in a virtual world, lines of code glitching and becoming visible and a virtually generated world using midjourney deep-learning algorithms that are reseaching artificial intelligence.

What is real, what is fake?— everything? nothing?

Also drawing inspiration from Hans Jonas’ “Imperative of Responsibility”, in which he states that not all progress leads to improvement and that technology is no longer just our subject but we are subjected by it too.

When does technological advancement reach its limit? Is there even one? Or rather: should there be one? If so, when?
