Budapest Metropolitan University (METU) was founded in 2001 (called BKF back then) and since has become the largest private university in Hungary. It has 4 basic faculties: Communication, Business, Tourism and Art. The faculty of Art offers programs in Animation, Design Culture, Photography, Craftsmanship, Graphic Design, Filmmaking, etc. The University’s aim is to make the students be successful in their jobs, professions and creative processes by possessing skills and abilities. Another goal is to expand internationally and to increase the number of international students. So far the METU already has over 1000 international students from 90 countries from all over the world as well as 2500 professional business partners which offer various training materials and internships or full-time placements for the students.
